CCCSSA Plans Protect Your Identity Day Event

More than 8 million Americans have their identities stolen each year. There have been breaches of secure information in nearly every sector of the business community, not just in the credit industry. It also reaches into education, health care, banking, and even into government sectors. Anyone can be affected by identity theft. This explains why the crime has been the top consumer complaint to the FTC for the past five years in a row.

Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater San Antonio (CCCSSA), is working daily to heighten awareness of the problem. A Protect Your Identity Day is planned on October 25, 2008 (Event times listed below). The event will provide CCCSSA with the opportunity to focus on this important aspect of overall personal financial literacy.
